Coffee, The Morning Person's Lifesaver

As most of us know, mornings are and will continue to be a constant battle.  Often we start the debate with whether to sleep in ten minutes more or to work on our appearance.  I think in most cases we choose the extra sleep.  One thing, however is we never forget our morning caffeine.  Most of us have a timed brewer at home or like millions of other people in the world they make the the quick stop into their local Starbucks.  It is said that 54% of people over the age of 18 years old drink coffee daily.  Americans spend $1,092 on coffee per year!  These numbers alone show how important our morning fuel really is.

  1. That is crazy! I know that coffee is obviously highly prevalent, but I didn't realize how many people drink it religiously. I haven't really ever been a big coffee drinker, but I have to admit I catch myself drinking it more and more often over the last few years.

  2. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I have noticed that some people seem as if they cannot function without it. Many people can't get their day started without their first "cup of joe." It's also surprising that many people can drink coffee just before bedtime and still sleep soundly. I don't drink it, but the aroma is awesome!

  4. If I didn't have coffee I don't know if I could actually function! My boss at work has a running joke with me that I can't go into any meetings until I have had 3 cups of coffee or I will hurt people's feelings. I have a very low patience level when I'm not awake. Coffee=Life

  5. I didn't realize that so many people spend so much money on coffee every year. My mom loves coffee and she has to have it every single day. I'm not a big coffee drinker but when I use to work a really early shift at a very boring job I would find myself drinking coffee in the mornings.

  6. When I was younger I would always wished that I could have some of my grandmothers coffee. It just smell so good!!.. One day I tried some of my grandma's coffee while she wasn't looking and I burnt my tongue and that's wasn't a good feeling. Now that I am older I do not like coffee because it actually makes me sleepy so I just drink Hot Cocoa.
